I don’t usually post regarding fitness on here, but I felt like this one was overdue. Left was my senior year in high school. At 5’9″ I was 112lbs, which is barely anything. I would eat a restrictive 600 calories a day and hop on the elliptical for an hour. I wanted a thigh gap and abs and to be super skinny like the models. When I went to college I put on some weight, but battled with an unhealthy relationship with food. My senior year in college I was sick of eating and I would eat a cookie and nothing else. After graduating my better half had enough and decided to introduce me to a healthy lifestyle: lifting and eating clean. I loved it so much I began to search for plans and finally created my own. I eat 3x+ the amount of food and I don’t overdo cardio. I always loved to cook, so I decided to channel this love of mine as a means to create healthier versions of the junk food I used to binge on. I’m now (photo on the right) 135lbs and I don’t care if I get heavier. No thigh gap? No problem. It’s all about how you feel, and right now, even though I have a long way to go in terms of my goals, I’m at my happiest :) Never give up!!!
