Sometimes you come home after a long day at work and all you crave is carbs, and you want them fast. Here’s a quick easy pasta recipe to get you your carb fix.
3 oz brown rice pasta
2 small bell peppers ( I prefer red/yellow/orange because of the sweetness)
½ tbsp. olive oil
- In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. I always add salt to speed up the boiling process. Add in your pasta and a pinch of oregano and cook for 7 mins.
- Spray a pan with pam and slice your bell peppers and onions. Sautee the bell peppers, onions, and garlic salt on medium till the onions are pale (or a bit longer if you want them crispy).
- Strain the pasta and put it back in the pot. Add the bell peppers, onions, and the ½ tbsp of olive oil to the pot and mix everything together.
